Spider-Man: Brand New Day ends with a post-credit scene that suggests Peter Parker’s next adventure could take him far beyond New York City, according to E! News.
In the film, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man again protects New York while dealing with his choice to keep distance from MJ and Ned. The post-credit scene shows Ned’s Spidey Tracker app following Spider-Man around the city before the location changes to “unknown” as the view zooms out to the U.S. and then outer space.
The device eventually shows Spider-Man beyond the moon, leading to new fan speculation about where the character may appear next. The screen then goes dark and says, “Spider-Man Will Return,” but it does not name the next movie.
E! News notes that the next Marvel films scheduled are Avengers: Doomsday in December and Avengers: Secret Wars next year. The story also looks back at Holland’s casting, saying more than 1,500 actors were considered before he was chosen in 2015.
