Wild Pink will mark the release of its new album, Still Coming Down, with a concert at Cassette in Queens, New York, on Friday, Aug. 21, according to Stereogum.
The show is set to be an intimate one, with doors opening at 7 p.m. ET. Tickets are priced at $20 in advance or $25 on the day of the show, and the event poster says a special guest will appear.
Stereogum says it is presenting the hometown release show and offering fans a chance to win two tickets. The site also pointed readers toward several advance tracks from the album, including “Box Store,” “Round Of Applause At The End Of The World” and “500 Is The New 250.”
Still Coming Down is due out Aug. 21 on Fire Talk Records. According to Stereogum, the album was recorded in Asheville at Drop Of Sun with producer Alex Farrar, plus contributions from Hand Habits’ Meg Duffy and musicians from the Wednesday/Lenderman circle.
