Wargasm have signed to Hopeless Records and shared a new single titled “Get Down,” according to NME. It marks the first release from Milkie Way and Sam Matlock through the label.
The song is Wargasm’s first single since “Small World Syndrome” arrived last July. NME says “Get Down” mixes fast electronic elements with distorted guitars and a big chorus, while the lyrics touch on isolation, mortality and escapism.
The duo are also set to support Scene Queen on a North American tour in September and October. The run includes a Mesa, Arizona date at The Nile Theater on September 29.
Wargasm previously spoke with NME at Download Festival 2024 about preparing for a new chapter. Their recent releases also include the 2024 collaboration “70% Dead” with Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, along with the 2023 debut album “Venom.”
