In the video, Hayley examined the wound while Tyler joked that breakfast had to wait. Tyler said the injury hurt badly, but he stayed calm as his children asked questions off camera.
Hayley, who stepped in to help, took a moment to locate exactly where the hook was stuck before working it free. Tyler did not explain how the accident happened, but the family cheered when Hayley finally removed the hook.
Hayley later described the camping trip as worth the effort of packing up and heading out. In her recap, she said the family spent four days camping in an airstream and added that next time they would try to avoid fish hooks in the head.
