Twisted Teens have signed with Sub Pop, according to Pitchfork. The New Orleans punk band is led by Caspian Halliwell and RJ Santos.
The label will handle the international release of the group’s recent album Florida Water Blues. In North America, that album remains with Going Underground, while Sub Pop takes over release duties in other territories.
The new signing comes as Twisted Teens continue a busy touring schedule. The band has added two U.S. shows in early September, with stops planned in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Pitchfork also reports that the group has lined up a new Australia run in December. Those dates include Melbourne, Meredith, Brisbane and Sydney.
