Police in the Netherlands say a woman in Blerick discovered a snake moving through the clothes in her bedroom and into a closet.
According to UPI Odd News, the Limburg Police said the woman called authorities after spotting the snake inside her home. Officers later determined the animal was a non-venomous reticulated python.
Police said the snake had escaped from a terrarium at a neighbor’s house. The neighbor was brought to the woman’s home to collect the pet and take it back.
Authorities said the owner will look into how the python got out and will try to make sure it does not happen again.
