Tom Brady drew attention at Fanatics Fest in New York on July 17 when he slapped Logan Paul during an onstage exchange, according to E! News. The moment quickly spread online and prompted speculation from fans that the confrontation may have been staged.
Brady responded on X the same day, writing, “I tried America,” before adding, “Will try again next time I see this nerd.” Paul also reacted on X, saying Brady’s comment came after “roasting Tom for beating him in flag football” and called it a “horrible example for the kids.”
New York Knicks player Karl-Anthony Towns, who stepped between the two during the exchange, reposted the clip on X with a wide-eyed emoji. The incident added to a history of public jabs between Brady and Paul.
Brady and Paul have traded insults before, including during an episode of Paul’s Impaulsive podcast in February. The story comes as Brady has also been in the spotlight for recent comedy appearances, including his second Netflix roast earlier this year.
