Teenage Fanclub have announced a new album titled Do Not Dare To Dream and released a new single called Day In The Sun, according to NME.
The record will be the band’s 13th studio album and their first since 2023’s Nothing Lasts Forever. It is due out on October 9 through Merge.
According to NME, the album continues the group’s signature mix of melodic guitars, harmonies and reflective songwriting, while also moving their sound in new directions. The new single is described as a laid-back track focused on renewal and a fresh outlook.
Teenage Fanclub said the album was shaped by the band working closely together in the studio, rather than planning every detail in advance. The group also plans to tour the UK and Ireland later this year, with dates beginning in Cambridge in November and continuing through cities including London, Glasgow, Dublin and Belfast.
