LeBron James has made it clear that Savannah James has been a major part of his life since before fame, according to E! News. In past interviews, he has said she was there when there were “no cameras, no lights,” and that he would not be the person he is today without her.
The couple met when Savannah was 16, after a football game, while LeBron was a student at nearby St. Vincent-St. Mary. Their relationship grew from a group hangout into a dinner date, and Savannah has said she later realized how much he cared when he brought her forgotten leftovers back to her.
In 2004, when Savannah became pregnant during her senior year of high school, she said LeBron reassured her that the news would not slow either of them down. The two went on to build their family together, raising children Bronny, Bryce and Zhuri.
LeBron and Savannah married in 2013 in San Diego, and both have spoken about the work it takes to keep a long relationship strong. Savannah has also stepped further into the spotlight in recent years, including launching the podcast Everybody’s Crazy and starting her Reframe skincare line.
