Snayx have released a new single called “Nice Day 4 It,” which the band describe as a summer song with a melancholy feel, according to NME. The track marks the start of a new era for the Brighton alt-punk trio.
It is also the group’s first release through Nettwerk Music Group. Built around a big, festival-ready chorus, the song mixes their abrasive guitar style with a more melodic sound.
In comments shared with NME, the band said the song explores burnout and the feeling of giving in to chaos. They described it as being about a headspace where self-destruction starts to feel normal.
Snayx, made up of Charlie Herridge, Ollie Horner and Lainey Loops, are currently working on their debut album. The band are also set to play several festival and tour dates this summer and fall, including shows with Yonaka across the UK and Ireland.
