Shabazz Palaces will release a new album, It’s a Style Sport, on October 31 through Sub Pop, according to Pitchfork. The project comes from Ishmael Butler and follows the duo’s recent mini-albums Exotic Birds of Prey and Robed in Rareness.
The album was produced by Butler and Erik Blood. It also includes contributions from Marquette Miller, Thaddillac, Evan Flory-Barnes, Gerald “Tugboat” Turner, Kassa Overall, and Carlos Overall.
A new song, “Ahh World (I Won the Alpha Bet),” is leading the release and is available now. Pitchfork also shared the album’s tracklist, which includes 10 songs.
Among the tracks on It’s a Style Sport are “Field Notes,” “Show Me Missouri in Mink,” “Jheri Curl Jump,” “Deadstock Dude,” and “From One Future to Another.”
