The Reytons are currently leading London girl group FLO in the race for this week’s UK Number One album, according to NME. The Rotherham band is vying for the top spot with their new album, A Love Letter To A Broken Town.
The Reytons are aiming for their second Number One album. Their previous chart-topper came in 2023 with What’s Rock And Roll?.
FLO are in second place with their album Therapy At The Club. If they finish the week at Number One, it would be the group’s first chart-topping album.
The article also looks back at The Reytons’ 2023 chart success, when frontman Jonny Yerrell told NME the band was excited to learn they were leading the midweek charts. He said the independent group was proud to reach Number One without label backing and wanted their success to show that other artists can do the same.
