Savannah Guthrie has issued another public message to the people she says abducted her mother, Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing for more than five months. In a July 27 Instagram Reel, Savannah spoke alongside her siblings Annie Guthrie and Camron Guthrie and said the family remains in agony as they wait for answers, according to E! News.
She urged the unknown captors to “do the right thing” and help the family locate Nancy. Savannah said she believes it is never too late to make the right choice and asked them to tell the family where to look.
Nancy Guthrie was reported missing on Feb. 1 after she was last seen the night before at her Tucson, Arizona, home, according to Pima County police. Her family said she did not appear at a church service the next morning, and after searching her property, they contacted authorities.
Investigators later said they believed a crime had taken place at the home, and Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said the scene contained signs that Nancy did not leave on her own. He also said Nancy needs daily medication and that going without it for 24 hours could be fatal.
In June, Savannah also spoke briefly about the case on Today after reports surfaced that a note sent to the media suggested Nancy had died. She said the family could not ignore the situation and asked anyone with information to come forward.
