Pamela Anderson says she will not be returning for the new Baywatch reboot because she was never contacted about joining the project, according to E! News.
In an interview published July 24, Anderson said, “No one’s reached out to me,” and added that she does not know much about the upcoming Fox sequel series.
The 59-year-old actress starred on Baywatch for five seasons from 1992 to 1997. She noted that her and ex Tommy Lee’s sons, Brandon and Dylan, were approached at one point about producing, but she said she is not sure what came of those conversations.
Anderson said she has no plans to return to the show, even as former castmates and new stars are involved. Still, she spoke warmly about her time on Baywatch, saying it was a great job that gave her worldwide exposure and helped shape her career.
Looking ahead, Anderson said she wants to keep exploring different characters and projects rather than returning to the kind of television she has already done.
