Rolling Stone says it asked a group of 50 people to help determine its list of the 100 best Grateful Dead songs.
The voters included musicians, writers, music industry figures, entertainers, and one former United States senator, according to Rolling Stone.
Each person submitted a ranked ballot of their top 25 Grateful Dead songs.
Rolling Stone said the ballots were then tabulated to create the final ranking and publish who voted.
