Role Model may have mixed music and romance in a new way during a July 30 performance in Chicago. According to E! News, the singer debuted a song called “Love I You” that appears to feature the voice of Dakota Johnson.
In videos shared to social media from the show at Thalia Hall, Role Model — whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury — sings, “Hey, I think you’re perfect,” before a voice that sounds like Johnson replies, “You say that to everyone.” The exchange continues with playful lines between the two voices, including “Yeah, but don’t tell anyone” and “Oh you’re Mr. Big Night.”
Fans who were at the concert confirmed on social media that the track was titled “Love I You.” The rest of the song reportedly centers on falling in love while drunk, and it is set to appear on Role Model’s upcoming album Chuck Timely & The Hourglass, which is due out Aug. 7.
If the voice on the track is Johnson’s, it would be the latest sign that the pair’s relationship remains strong. The two were first seen together in January and later shared public kisses in Los Angeles, according to E! News.
