Reba McEntire says there is no wedding date set yet for her and fiancé Rex Linn because both of them are keeping very busy, according to E! News.
At the NBC Backlot Pass event on Aug. 10, McEntire said they are waiting for an open window to hold the ceremony. She added that once they find the time, they will plan the wedding and send out invitations.
McEntire and Linn, who became engaged in 2025, also work together on Happy’s Place, where Linn plays Emmett opposite McEntire’s Bobbie. Belissa Escobedo, McEntire’s castmate, described them as two of the busiest people, saying they are always taking on new projects and making music.
McEntire said their relationship works because they enjoy each other’s company. She noted that they work, rehearse and even carpool together, and said they share the same interests, including country and western life, movies and television.
The singer previously said in February that their schedules had already delayed wedding plans, with Happy’s Place awaiting a third-season pickup and Linn also being cast in Stick with Owen Wilson.
