RÜFÜS DU SOL say they’ll take a long break after their current tour ends

RÜFÜS DU SOL say they plan to take an extended break from touring after they finish their current world tour, according to Billboard.

Frontman Tyrone Lindqvist shared the update during the group’s Aug. 6 show at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, where the band is playing one of five concerts at the venue. He said the trio wants to make the most of the remaining dates before taking “a solid amount of time” off the road.

The Australian electronic act is nearing the end of its Inhale / Exhale world tour, which launched in October 2024 with a one-off outdoor show at Sydney’s Fleet Steps. Along the way, the band became the second Australian act, after AC/DC, and the first electronic group to headline Los Angeles’ Rose Bowl Stadium, and also played four nights at Madison Square Garden.

The tour will wrap in October with performances at Austin City Limits. Before then, RÜFÜS DU SOL are set to finish their Forum residency and play 12 more shows across the United States and Canada. Their album Inhale / Exhale debuted at No. 3 on Australia’s ARIA Albums Chart.
