Quinton Aaron says he was shocked to learn that his wife, Margarita DeLeon, was still legally married to another man when they wed in December 2024, according to E! News.
The Blind Side actor told Us Weekly that he found out after waking from a four-day coma in January, following a spinal stroke and pulmonary embolism. Aaron said he believed DeLeon was divorced and that he would never have gotten involved if he had known otherwise.
DeLeon told ABC News in April that she did not realize she was still legally married, while her estranged husband, Eric Guzman, said he thought divorce paperwork had gone through years earlier. He also said he had since filed for divorce.
Aaron said he has not spoken to DeLeon in months and added that he felt he needed to remove her from his life. He also said the marriage has been voided, so he did not need an annulment because the couple was not legally married in the first place.
Despite the situation, Aaron said he wishes DeLeon well and hopes she gets the help she needs.
