Prince Harry made a surprise appearance on the July 26 episode of MasterChef Australia while Meghan Markle was serving as a guest judge, according to E! News.
During the video call, Harry asked Meghan if he had interrupted anything important, while Meghan introduced him to the contestants and fellow judges. She told him the group was in the middle of tasting dishes and praised the cooks as talented.
Harry, who was in Canberra with veterans, joked about the set and said the chandeliers looked nice. Meghan replied that the show had been dressed up for her “beautiful wife,” and Harry signed off by apologizing for the interruption and saying he would see her later.
Meghan’s appearance on the show was filmed in April during the couple’s trip to Australia, when she asked the judges to call her Meghan instead of Duchess. She also told contestants that Archie and Lilibet enjoy Brussels sprouts and shared that she grows strawberries and mandarins on her farm in California, according to E! News.
