Fred again.. and Latin Mafia are set to livestream themselves creating a mixtape together, with the broadcast expected to continue until the project is complete, according to Billboard.
The stream is scheduled to take place in Mexico City on Tuesday, July 28, and is set to begin at 1 p.m. CT. Fans will be able to watch the event online.
The livestream comes shortly after the July 26 release of under the fabric (Mexico City, 11th December 2025), a 35-minute film that documents the session that helped launch the collaboration.
Fred said in a statement posted Monday that he and the Latin Mafia brothers have been making music together for some time, and that the material they created felt like it belonged to the same world. He said they decided to return to Mexico City to finish the project there.
The event follows Fred’s appearance at Eaux Claires, Justin Vernon’s festival in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, which returned this past weekend after an eight-year break.
