Prince George is already showing some classic teenage behavior, according to E! News. Nearly two weeks after the eldest child of Prince William and Kate Middleton turned 13, his parents shared that he can be embarrassed by them just like any other teen.
That moment came during a family visit to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, on August 1. Kate Middleton joked that cycling champion Dame Laura had encouraged her and William to try the sport, and added, “Be careful what you wish for as they want to put us on a tandem bike in the velodrome.”
When TV presenter Gethin Jones asked George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis whether they would want to watch their parents take on the challenge, George answered simply, “No.” Charlotte also appeared to be showing a bit of a strong-willed streak during the outing, while Louis was said to be working on “perfecting” his handstand.
William and Kate celebrated George’s 13th birthday on July 22 with a video of him enjoying a holiday with his siblings. Kensington Palace has also said George is expected to begin at Eton College in September, one of the next major milestones ahead for the young royal.
