Pitchfork is keeping a running guide of notable upcoming albums and song releases slated for 2026, according to the publication. The list includes a growing slate of artists expected to put out new music over the coming months.
Among the releases listed are projects from Phoebe Bridgers, Haruomi Hosono, Brandon Flowers, Beabadoobee, Carly Simon, Julia Holter, Diiv, Bloc Party, the Mountain Goats, L’Rain, Julia Jacklin, Blondshell, Emily A. Sprague, Xiu Xiu and Cornelius, along with many others. Pitchfork says the guide includes streaming and digital release dates and will be updated regularly.
The story also highlights several specific Friday release dates. Those include Overmono’s Pure Devotion on August 7, 2026; Phoebe Bridgers’ Lost Weekend on August 14; Julia Holter’s Materia on August 21; and Interpol’s This Mirror Weighs a Ton on August 28.
Later entries listed in the guide include Carly Rae Jepsen’s Day and Night on September 18, 2026, along with new music from The Yummy Fur, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Rachel Chinouriri and Various Artists.
