According to UPI Odd News, a Polish endurance expert has set a Guinness World Record after spending 2 hours, 12 minutes and 12 seconds completely buried in snow.
Damian Kasprzyk, 41, earned the title for the longest time spent in direct full body contact with snow by a male contestant. His record attempt took place in Szlachtowa, Poland, on Feb. 21.
Kasprzyk has previously held another snow and ice-related record. He once set the mark for the longest duration of full body contact with ice for a man, lasting 5 hours, 1 minute and 33 seconds.
He said Valerjan Romanovski, who has also earned Guinness World Records titles for extreme cold endurance, helped him prepare both mentally and physically for the challenge, according to Guinness World Records.
