Didi Conn made a rare public appearance on July 23 at a performance of Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical at Battersea Park in London, according to E! News.
The 75-year-old actress, who played Frenchy in the 1978 film Grease, wore a pink jacket with her name embroidered on it, echoing the look of the Pink Ladies from the movie.
In the E! News story, Conn also looked back on how she landed the role. She said her agent told her to show up looking like the character, and while driving home she noticed a beauty parlor with Frenchy in the name, which inspired her audition story.
Conn also shared memories of working with Olivia Newton-John, saying their friendship began on set after they quickly clicked during their first scene together.
