Brighton indie rock duo Penelope Isles have released a new song titled “I Loved You, Robert Pattinson,” according to Stereogum. The track is the latest preview from their upcoming album 3.
The band, made up of siblings Lily and Jack Wolter, had already shared the album’s lead single, “Thinking Seat.” Their new release runs nearly six minutes and is described by the outlet as a woozy, expansive song.
In the song, Lily Wolter sings about a Robert Pattinson poster that once hung on her wall during the Twilight era, Stereogum reports. The piece says the band’s sound and concept make the track stand out as another step toward the new album.
Penelope Isles also released a video they shot themselves, which includes footage of the band recording the album. The video accompanies the new single online.
