Nickelback have announced their 11th studio album, Everything Under The Sun, and released a new single called “Rattle The Cage,” according to NME.
The album is due out October 30 through Virgin Music Group and will follow the band’s 2022 record Get Rollin’. Frontman Chad Kroeger said the new project includes “every side” of the band, with songs that range from hard-hitting tracks to more reflective material.
Speaking about “Rattle The Cage,” Kroeger said the song felt like the right way to introduce the album because it captures the energy the band has been drawing from on stage. The track features US guitarist John 5.
Virgin Music Group said the album will showcase the range that has helped make Nickelback one of the biggest rock bands in the world, and noted that it is the group’s first release with the label. The announcement follows the band’s documentary Hate To Love: Nickelback and their record-breaking Get Rollin’ World Tour.
