Drivers using State Route 347 should be ready for another week of overnight and weekend lane restrictions through July 24 while paving work continues, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
ADOT said weekend restrictions start tonight and will affect both northbound and southbound lanes in several locations. Northbound lane restrictions are also set to begin Tuesday, July 21.
The agency added that daytime and overnight restrictions are expected to continue on the corridor the weekend of July 25, although the final schedule has not yet been released. ADOT said the timeline could change because of weather or other delays.
Drivers are also being warned about nightly lane restrictions on State Route 238, starting at White Road near mileposts 41-42, for pavement maintenance. From July 21 through July 24, the highway will be narrowed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., with flagging operations guiding traffic through the work zone.
