Alex Morgan says her daughter Charlie is looking forward to becoming a big sister. In an exclusive interview with E! News at the Time 100 Sports Gala in New York City on July 16, Morgan said Charlie is excited about helping run the household and wants to be the “big girl boss,” according to the outlet.
Morgan, 37, is expecting her third child with husband Servando Carrasco. She also shares 15-month-old son Enzo with Carrasco.
The former U.S. Women’s National Team star said Charlie has been very positive so far, though she joked that the reaction could change once the baby arrives. Morgan added that she feels mostly prepared for a bigger family, even if chasing two young children leaves her a little more tired.
Even after retiring from soccer in September 2024, Morgan said she still encourages young players to get into the sport because they enjoy it. She told E! News that she loved playing right up until the end and always wanted to keep improving because she cared so much about the game.
