An Ohio man ended up with two major lottery wins in the same week, according to UPI Odd News.
The Toledo resident told Ohio Lottery officials he bought a $50 Millionaire Blowout scratch-off at Mike's Corner Store on Key Street in Toledo and uncovered a prize worth $40,000 a year for 25 years, or $1 million total.
He chose the lump-sum option instead of the annuity, receiving $500,000 before taxes and $366,250 after taxes.
Feeling lucky after the first win, he bought another ticket later that week and landed a $25,000 prize, which came to $18,312.50 after taxes. He said the money will help extend an upcoming vacation, buy a new vehicle, share with his children and add to his savings.
