A New Zealand metal concert by Devilskin was reportedly disrupted over the weekend after a concertgoer defecated during the band’s set, according to the Otago Daily Times and Metal Hammer.
The show took place at the University of Otago’s Union Hall and was the second date on Devilskin’s current tour, which marks the 10th anniversary of the band’s album Be Like The River.
Witnesses described the scene as quickly turning chaotic once people in the crowd realized what had happened. One concertgoer told the Otago Daily Times that the mess spread through the mosh pit, while Doug Stewart of opening act Pieces Of Molly said the crowd reacted as if it were a horror movie.
According to the reports, the concert later resumed. Police tracked down the man involved, but he was not charged with any offence.
