Morrissey has cancelled his Las Vegas residency just a week before it was set to begin, according to NME.
The former Smiths frontman was scheduled to play four nights at the Wynn Las Vegas starting next Friday, August 14, following the release of his 14th solo album, Make-Up Is A Lie, in March.
According to the report, the dates were removed from the Wynn’s official website and Morrissey’s team said the shows were cancelled because of “unforeseen logistical challenges.”
The singer has repeatedly cancelled or postponed concerts this year, including shows in Valencia, St. Petersburg, San Diego, St. Louis and Atlanta, as well as a California date that was postponed after an “adverse reaction to a prescription medication.”
Morrissey is still due to return to the UK in December for five arena shows in Brighton, Cardiff, Liverpool, Glasgow and Leeds.
