Netflix is set to drop season three of My Life With the Walter Boys, bringing Jackie’s ongoing romance dilemma back to the screen, according to E! News. The teen drama follows Jackie as she tries to figure out whether Cole or Alex is the better match for her.
The series is based on Ali Novak’s YA book series and centers on Jackie’s move from New York City to a Colorado ranch after a family tragedy. In the story, she goes to live with her mom’s best friend Katherine Walter, her husband George, their daughter, seven sons and two nephews.
Showrunner Melanie Halsall told TheWrap before the show premiered in 2023 that she was drawn to Jackie’s story, the love triangle, and the contrast between New York and Colorado. She said the world felt warm and authentic, which she believed would connect with viewers.
According to E! News, the first two seasons both reached No. 1 in Netflix’s Global Top 10, and the show has logged 130 million views since its 2023 debut through the end of last year. A fourth season, set for 2027, is already in development.
E! News also shared several behind-the-scenes details from the cast and production, including that the fictional Silver Falls, Colorado is filmed on the 28,000-acre CL Ranch and that the cast often spends time joking, filming TikToks and hanging out between takes.
