Morgan Wallen introduced his next single, “Been By Now,” during a concert Saturday night in Baltimore, Maryland, according to Billboard. Concertgoers captured the live debut at M&T Bank Stadium, where Wallen also revealed the song’s official release date.
The track is set to arrive on Friday, July 24. After the show, Wallen posted a 40-second preview of the recorded version on social media.
“Been By Now” appears to be a midtempo song about a relationship that has stalled, with lyrics that include, “If it was meant to be, we’d have been by now/ We wouldn’t have to keep trying to work things out.”
The release will be Wallen’s first new song since his April duet with Ella Langley, “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” and follows his 2025 album I’m the Problem. Wallen is currently on his Still the Problem Tour, which continues next weekend in Ann Arbor, Michigan, before wrapping in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, according to Billboard.
