Minor injuries were reported after a rollover crash on State Route 347 Thursday morning, according to a spokesperson for the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The two-vehicle crash happened at 4:32 a.m. near milepost 178, just south of Casa Blanca Road. DPS said troopers determined the collision was caused by inattention.
The crash slowed traffic and caused backups that extended past Smith-Enke Road by around 6 a.m., according to the report. The scene has since been cleared.
In an earlier update, the Arizona Department of Transportation said a crash near Casa Blanca Road was blocking the left lane on northbound SR 347 and backing traffic up past Cobblestone Farms Drive. Social media users reported seeing at least five vehicles involved, but DPS could not confirm that number.
