Megan Moroney ended her concert early Tuesday night in Denver after becoming ill, according to Rolling Stone. She was performing at Ball Arena when the show stopped after just three songs.
Moroney shared an apology on Instagram Stories, saying it was the hardest decision she had ever had to make. She wrote that by the third song, she knew she was not able to give fans the kind of performance she expects of herself.
The singer also told fans she was upset about having to disappoint them and said she was crying in her dressing room when she posted the message. She added that she had never had to cancel a show before and said she loved her fans.
Ball Arena confirmed the concert had to end because Moroney could not continue due to illness. The venue said the show will be made up on Aug. 27, tickets will be honored for the new date, and refunds will be available for those unable to attend.
Moroney is currently on The Cloud 9 Tour in support of her third studio album, also titled Cloud 9.
