A kangaroo that has been roaming free in Missouri for several days was spotted again Tuesday morning, though it has not been captured, according to UPI Odd News.
Owner Dawn McClard said Roofus got away from her Bloomfield property on Friday morning after being startled by an excavator her husband was operating on the land. Since then, the family has searched for the animal with help from a thermal drone.
McClard said there was a possible sighting Sunday morning in a field near the unincorporated community of Aquila. Another report came Tuesday when a FedEx driver said they saw a kangaroo crossing Highway 25 at the entrance to Aquila.
McClard said Roofus is not dangerous and is probably frightened. She asked anyone who sees the kangaroo to contact her and report where the animal was spotted.
