Max Greenfield says being part of The White Lotus season 4 has come with plenty of pressure off camera. During a July 31 appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, the actor said it has been stressful to avoid giving away any details about the HBO series, according to E! News.
Greenfield joked around when asked about the project before eventually confirming he is working on The White Lotus. He also said he has had to be careful when people bring up the show to him in public because he does not know what he is allowed to say.
When host Mark Consuelos and guest host Scott Foley asked about the new season, Greenfield avoided specifics about the plot and whether filming in the French Riviera had wrapped. Still, he did share one positive update, calling the experience unforgettable.
HBO renewed The White Lotus for a fourth season in January 2025, and the network later confirmed that the new chapter would be set in France. The cast includes Greenfield along with Chris Messina, AJ Michalka, Kumail Nanjiani and others, while Laura Dern was later announced as a replacement after Helena Bonham Carter exited the project.
