An Idaho family has set a new world record for the fastest time to clear a game of Hungry Hungry Hippos as a team of four, according to UPI Odd News.
David Rush teamed up with his wife, Jennifer, and sons Jeremy and Peter to go after the mark, which had a time to beat of 4.833 seconds. The family finished in 3.75 seconds.
Rush said the attempt had to follow strict rules, including using an unmodified licensed game on a flat table and using only one finger to trigger each hippo. If a ball dropped off the edge, the attempt would have to start over.
The accomplishment has been officially certified by Guinness World Records and gave Rush his 200th concurrently held Guinness World Records title, making him only the third person in history to reach that number.
