Mark Ballas took to Instagram on July 22 to call out his longtime friend Derek Hough for leaving behind a mess while staying with him in New York City, according to E! News.
In his post, Ballas joked about an unmade bed, empty drink bottles, pillows on the floor and trash left too close to the can. He also shared video showing the room as he described it as proof that Hough was a messy house guest.
Hough responded in the comments with a laughing emoji and wrote, “Office Revenge.” His wife, Hayley Erbert, also chimed in and joked about a wrapper being only a few inches from the trash can.
The playful back-and-forth came as Hough also pulled a prank of his own before Ballas headed onstage as Billy Flynn in Chicago on Broadway. The two have known each other since the mid-1990s, when Hough and his sister Julianne began training with Ballas’ parents.
