Rapper Lil Tecca will headline season 15 of Fortnite Festival, replacing jazz-pop artist Laufey, according to NME.
Fortnite Festival launched at the end of 2023 as a rhythm game inside Fortnite. Its first season featured The Weeknd, and later seasons have also been led by artists including Gorillaz, Billie Eilish and Sabrina Carpenter.
Epic Games said the new season will go live later this week on July 30. Tecca is the first rap artist to headline a Festival season since Snoop Dogg at the start of 2024.
As part of the event, four Lil Tecca tracks have been added to the game: “Ransom,” “Dark Thoughts,” “Love Me” and “500lbs.” Epic Games also says the Neon Dreams Music Pass will include themed items such as a Lil Tecca outfit, pickaxe, back bling and guitar.
According to NME, Tecca began making rap music after freestyling with friends over Xbox Live, and last year he released his fifth album, Dopamine.
