Laufey has announced the return of “A Very Laufey Day” for 2026, with events planned across the world, according to NME. The annual celebration is back for its fourth year and is meant to reflect the singer’s idea of a perfect day.
This year’s theme is “A Celebration of the Arts,” with activities focused on the cultural experiences that inspire Laufey, including music, film, dance, theatre and literature. Events are scheduled in more than 75 cities across 25 countries.
Planned activities include live performances, museum exhibitions and fan meet-ups at libraries, bookstores, cafes and ice cream shops. One of the main highlights is a set of exclusive candlelight concerts in 10 cities, where string quartets will perform reimagined versions of Laufey’s music.
The lineup also includes screenings of the concert film Night at the Symphony: Hollywood Bowl at the Grammy Museum’s Clive Davis Theater and select AMC Theatres in the U.S. Fans will also be able to attend bookshop meet-ups, buy limited-edition “A Very Laufey Day” merchandise and try specially made drinks.
