Heavens to Betsy have announced Baby’s Gone, their first release since their 1994 studio album Calculated, according to Rolling Stone.
The project gathers a previously unreleased demo tape recorded in February 1992, plus recordings from the 1993 single These Monsters Are Real and the 1994 single Direction. The album will also include liner notes from Molly Neuman, who recorded the original demo tape.
Baby’s Gone is set for release on Oct. 16 through Kill Rock Stars and will be available on two special vinyl editions, as well as CD and cassette. The label will also issue a limited run of the original demo tape with recreated artwork.
To mark the announcement, Corin Tucker and Tracy Sawyer shared the first single, “Ain’t Never Goin’ Back.” The duo also performed a surprise reunion show in Portland over the summer and announced a tour that begins Oct. 16 in Minneapolis.
