Kylie Minogue reunited with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds on Friday night in Brighton, England, stepping onstage during the band’s concert at Preston Park, according to Rolling Stone.
Minogue joined Cave to perform “Where the Wild Roses Grow,” the Murder Ballads duet the pair had not sung live together since 2019. That earlier performance came when Cave appeared as a guest during Minogue’s Glastonbury set.
Rolling Stone noted that Cave and Minogue had also performed the song together in 2018, 2013, and a handful of times in the mid-1990s after the album was released. The 2018 performance was the last time the Bad Seeds played the track live.
Earlier in the day, Cave and the Bad Seeds also played a surprise rooftop show at Resident Music in Brighton, performing four songs. The set included “Train Long-Suffering,” which had not been played live in 27 years before the band’s 2026 European tour, as well as a cover of T. Rex’s “Cosmic Dancer.”
The band’s Wild God 2026 Tour continues across Europe in August and is scheduled to wrap up at Paris’ Rock en Seine festival on August 28. Minogue does not have any further 2026 shows scheduled, but she recently said she plans to tour extensively in 2027 to mark 40 years in music.
