KUN began his THE DEADMAN Asia Tour with two shows on Aug. 2 and 3 in Macau, China, according to Billboard. The performances introduced the live version of his Deadman project, which was built around a larger narrative.
The 22-song set followed KUN through what Billboard described as an “infinite game,” with the story centered on a player moving through a Western wasteland arena across three cycles of death and rebirth. The production combined that storyline with a cinematic stage presentation.
Billboard reported that the concert also highlighted KUN’s abilities as a live performer, with vocals performed throughout and a dance break included in the show. The opening night also fell on KUN’s 28th birthday, and fans sang “Happy Birthday” during the venue-wide celebration.
Following the Macau launch, the tour is set to continue through Asia. KUN has announced a Singapore date for Oct. 24 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, according to Billboard.
