Keanu Reeves joined his band Dogstar for a performance of “Joy” on The Tonight Show, according to Rolling Stone. The group delivered a moody take on the song, which appears on their 2026 album All in Now.
Dogstar also includes Bret Domrose and Robert Mailhouse. The album, released in May, is the band’s second since reuniting in 2023 after a 20-year break.
Reeves and his bandmates returned to the stage in 2023 for their first shows since 2002, then followed that up with Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees, their first new album since 2000’s Happy Ending. Reeves said ahead of the new release that he was eager to work with the band again and described the recording process as something he enjoyed sharing with his bandmates and producer Nick Launay.
Dogstar is currently on a North American tour in support of All in Now. The run continues in Atlantic City and is scheduled to wrap in Salt Lake City on Sept. 3, according to Rolling Stone.
