Katseye has released a new music video for “Hootie Frutti,” one of the tracks from the group’s new EP, Wild, which is out today, according to Rolling Stone.
The video, directed by Alfred Marroquin, follows the group through an underground Brazilian party setting. It features lively choreography, a Latin-influenced beat and brightly colored outfits, before water starts pouring from the ceiling while the performers keep dancing.
Wild includes five songs, among them “Animal,” which Katseye performed earlier this week on The Tonight Show. The release is the group’s first recording without Manon Bannerman, who is currently on hiatus, and follows Sophia Laforteza’s recent announcement that she is also stepping away temporarily for her mental health.
After the EP release and the theatrical debut of Katseye: Wild Hearts in August, the group will launch the Wildworld Tour. The tour begins Sept. 1 in Dublin and wraps up Nov. 27 in Mexico City, with stops planned in London, Los Angeles, Miami, Paris, Chicago, Boston and Montreal.
