Justin Bieber proved he could compete beyond music over the weekend, taking first place at the Fanatics Games during Fanatics Fest in New York, according to Billboard.
The event put Bieber up against a lineup of well-known athletes and personalities, including Tom Brady, Novak Djokovic, Victor Wembanyama, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jordan Chiles, Rob Gronkowski and Livvy Dunne.
One of the most talked-about moments came when Bieber challenged Djokovic to a bonus game of ping-pong and joked before the match that he was a “superior ping-pong player.” Djokovic won that round, but Bieber took the loss in stride.
Despite the ping-pong setback, Bieber finished with the top overall score and won the competition’s $1 million prize. He later gave $500,000 to the 50 fan competitors and donated the other $500,000 to charity.
