Jorja Smith has been announced as the latest artist set to perform at The O2 as the London venue marks 20 years since it reopened as an arena, according to NME.
Smith will headline the venue on Saturday, July 17, 2027. In a statement, she said performing there as part of the anniversary celebrations is a huge honour and called it a special milestone to be part of.
The O2 said the show will be Smith’s first-ever headline performance at the venue and her only UK arena show in 2027. Christian D’Acuna, The O2’s vice president of programming, said the venue was pleased to welcome her to its growing birthday lineup.
She joins other artists already scheduled for the anniversary series, including Maisie Peters on May 8, Shreya Ghoshal on June 4 and Don Omar on July 5. Tickets go on general sale on Friday, August 28 at 10am, with Priority Tickets available to O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers from 10am on Wednesday, August 26.
The O2 opened in its current form in 2007 and has hosted more than 3,000 shows and welcomed over 100 million visitors since then.
