Ticketmaster says it has cancelled tickets for Olivia Rodrigo’s upcoming The Unraveled Tour that were bought by touts and will now offer them back to fans at face value, according to NME.
The company said the recovered tickets cover the U.S. and Canada leg of the tour. Fans who have not yet secured seats are being prioritized, and requests are open through the deadline announced by Ticketmaster.
In addition, $25 Silver Star tickets will be available to request starting September 1 at 3 p.m. EST, or 8 p.m. BST. Ticketmaster said the tickets being released back to the public were purchases that broke the rules of the sale and are being returned at the original prices set by the tour.
Rodrigo’s tour is set to begin next month in North America before continuing to London’s O2 Arena next April. The move follows similar anti-touting efforts in the music industry, including actions taken by The Cure’s Robert Smith in 2023, according to NME.
